What is Low-Cost Addiction Counselling?
Low-cost addiction counselling is designed to make professional counselling more accessible for people who are navigating addictive behaviours and may be facing financial barriers. It offers the same compassionate, client-centered support but at a reduced rate, with flexibility for those in need. This service is ideal if you’re looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your relationship with harmful behaviours, whether you’re thinking about change, working toward recovery, or just need someone to talk to. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality care regardless of income or stage of readiness.
Who Provides the Counselling?
Low-cost addiction counselling is provided by an Associate Addiction Counsellor who is currently completing their graduate training, under the supervision of Brianne Flaherty, founder of Brianne Flaherty Counselling Services. These sessions are rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centred, and non-judgmental approach, meeting you exactly where you're at. Whether you're thinking about making a change, cutting back, or simply exploring your relationship with harmful behaviours, you'll be supported in a way that feels safe, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, you’ll work at your pace to build insight, clarity, and meaningful steps forward.
How Much Does it Cost?
Low-cost addiction counselling is offered at a reduced rate to help make support more accessible. Sessions typically range from $40 to $50, with the option of a sliding scale based on your financial circumstances. If cost is a concern, we’re happy to discuss a rate that works for you—because getting help shouldn’t feel out of reach.
How Do I Get Started?
To get started, you're invited to book a complimentary virtual consultation with Brianne Flaherty. This is a chance to share what you’ve been going through, ask any questions, and get a feel for the support we offer. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll move forward with scheduling your first session.
